Appointment Missed

Grammy came in the morning to visit with Henry. I spent the morning cleaning the carpets. Jeff and I took Henry over to the Wilmot Clinic for his appointment with Dr. Hassan. The clinic had called on Monday to say that our appointment was at 1PM. I managed to lose the appointment card, so I was glad that they did their usual pre-appointment call. We got there, and the woman at the desk said that we had missed the appointment, which she said was scheduled at 10AM. Ugh. Driving 45 minutes for no reason. I was incredibly annoyed. I explained that they had said it was for 1PM, but she said that Dr. Hassan had already left for the day. But she did us a "favor" by letting us have an appointment with Dr. Hassan next week, rather than making us waiting a month or two.

We went to Lovin' Spoonfuls for lunch and sat outside. It was a nice day. Henry watch cars move around the parking lot. Their outside seating lacks a certain ambiance, but considering that cars are something new to Henry, he was quite pleased with the situation.

We came home. Jeff made a fire. Henry weighed 14 lbs 15.5 ozs. Jeff gave Henry a massage in front of the fire. Henry squealed a lot and had a good time. The massage made him very hungry afterward. Then, we went on our evening walk. Said hello to Hal and his dogs Annie and Luke. Grandpa came over to watch the UofA get beaten by ASU in basketball. Henry had a good eating day...consumed 900 mls (around 30 ounces). That's about it.

Tomorrow, we meet with one of the craigslist potential nannies. One of them already got placed, so hopefully, the remaining candidate works out. Otherwise, I guess we'll go with the nanny agency.
