Not Out of the Woods Yet

Sorry for the ominous blog title. It seems that whenever we post some positive title things take a turn for the worse. My most recent post was titled "On the Mend" and Kate posted "Improving" and today he vomited and weighed the lowest he has in a long time. So I thought I would try to gloom and doom him on his way to good health.

Henry seems to be still feeling the effects of whatever virus he has. He is much happier and is eating more. However, he is sleeping much more than he used to, his temperature is still dropping while he sleeps and today he had another massive vomit, all over Veronica. He weighed 14lbs 15ozs today. We had thought he hit bottom a couple days ago at 15lbs 1oz but that was not the case. Hopefully this is the lightest he will be for the rest of his life.

On a more positive note, he is still having fun with his mouth, making new sounds. He's sticking his tongue way out, making raspberries, and starting to make sounds that just might turn into words.

He was supposed to have his first real appointment with the physical therapist today. However, she didn't call and didn't show up.

He spent that afternoon with Grandma and is currently asleep on Grandpa. He has had a resurgence in his enjoyment of sleeping on people. He went through a phase where he didn't really do that anymore. Now he is back to doing it daily. I thought I would include some pictures of Henry on his Grandpa to demonstrate how he has grown. As you can see, he is now quite the handful.
