On Monday morning, we had a visit with Liz from the Blake Foundation. Baby A demonstrated her spit up skills several times. Liz was a little bit concerned over some body stiffening that sometimes happens. Not a big concern, but one of those little concerns to "keep monitoring." Henry and Miss R were delightful during the visit. They mostly played in the train room.
Right now, I'm at home, writing this post, instead of at my kids' swim lesson. Why? Because of yet another CPS driving service/daycare screw up. So Baby A got picked up at daycare. Once again, the driving service with whom CPS has a contract did NOT bring the legally required baby seat. So they walked off with someone else's car seat from the daycare. The daycare called to inform us that another child's car seat was missing. Apparently, they didn't check to make sure that the car seat actually belonged to Baby A (even though I told them when I enrolled her that CPS' driving service was required to bring the car seat themselves). So that child's family couldn't bring the baby home b/c there was no car seat. On top of that, the car seat that the driving service took did NOT have a base. So basically, our Baby A is riding around in an unsafe seat. CPS' subcontractors are not following the law. Lovely. I'm trying to coordinate the return of the car seat to the family. No calls for awhile now, so who knows what is going on.
Jeff went to pick up The Twins and take them to their swim lesson. I'm vexed that I'm missing it. Grrr.
