Sweetness

On Thursday morning, The Twins were being extraordinarily cute. I witnessed one of those sweet moments when one's heart melts, the highlight of being a parent.

Henry and Miss R were playing in our bed after breakfast. They pretty much think that Jeff's and my bed is a trampoline. I had just gotten out of the shower when I heard fits of giggles coming from the bed. Henry and Miss R were lying next to one another laughing when one would put their feet on the other. Under other circumstances, this might have caused tears, but this morning it caused giggles so loud that Jeff could hear them in the kitchen. Then, the kids had the following conversation:

HENRY: I love you, R!
MISS R: You're so cute, Henry.

We tell the kids that we love them a hundred times a day. I also tell them how cute, beautiful, and handsome they are. I love it when they give each other joy and can see the beauty in each other.
