15 Months Old (Actual)!

Henry reached the 15-month old mark today! That's 15 months actual (about 11.5 months adjusted). He is still sick. Grandpa came in the morning and watched him for a few hours. Henry snoozed on Grandpa from 9:40AM to 11AM.

I then watched Henry. We crawled around the house, watered the plants outside, and read some books. He loves the Orange Orangutan in his Rainbow Rob book.

We were going to go over to Grandma's this afternoon, but Henry decided to take a bottle about 10 minutes before our target departure time. We then ended up taking a 3 hour nap. I suspect that the cold is sapping his energy...or he is going through a growth spurt.

Jeff asked Henry where his tummy was today (just to make sure yesterday wasn't a fluke). And, Henry cutely patted his tummy.

The big news of the day was Henry is standing by himself for a few seconds. After my failed bet with Jeff regarding Henry walking by July 4, we revised the bet. I said that Henry would stand unassisted for 5 seconds before his due date day. Jeff said after. Yesterday, Henry was leaning/hugging/petting Roger, and he let go and stood in mid-air for a few seconds. Unfortunately, we didn't time it. I'm guessing it was about 5 seconds. Jeff said 4.5 seconds, so we had to wait for him to do it again. Today was the day. He stood for several seconds by himself. Earlier this morning, he stepped from the bench in front of the sofa to me. Before he went to bed, he also took a step from my arms to his Dad's unassisted. I wouldn't say that he is walking yet by any means, but he is certainly learning about balance, and all in all, doing a super job.
