Henry turned 23 months old yesterday! Can't believe that he'll be 2 years old in just under a month.
Grammy picked him up yesterday afternoon and took him to her house. He had a great time, but he didn't eat as much as she would have liked.
Jeff picked him up after dinner. They got home around 8PM. We let him watch "Aladdin" as he had his last bottle of the evening. I'm enjoying our end of the day ritual. He gets what he wants (watching TV), and I get what I want (snuggle time on the couch with Henry).
Henry got up at 7AM this morning. We read three books ("Robin Hood," "The Penguin Who Hated the Cold," and "The Haunted House"). I like our morning ritual too. Again, it involves snuggle time on the couch together as I read and he drinks his bottle. I ask him questions and he answers them by talking or pointing. It's nice.
Words that I keep forgetting to add to the list:
308. Island of Sodor (Thomas the Tank Engine's home)
309. Little John
310. Sheriff of Nottingham
311. Pablo (the Penguin)
312. Pluto
313. Aladdin
314. Abu (Aladdin's monkey)
We'll keep trying to add to this list. But he's picking up on things much faster than we can keep track.
Today, we have an appointment with Dr. Fike, Henry's neurologist for a follow-up appointment. The grandparents, Jeff, and I are doing to a dinner tonight. Uncle Brian will be taking care of the Doodle Bug.
That's all for now.
