"Turkey Bummy"

Henry was difficult during dinner (or anti-dinner). Jeff and I are trying to come up with a new game plan to get Henry to eat. I think that we are going to make mashed potatoes tomorrow. Hopefully, that will stimulate his appetite.

We let him watch "Robin Hood" during dinner. Toward the end, we got ready for his bath. Henry ran out of the bathroom to the living room before we could get him in the tub. He yelled "Marian...pretty!"

281. Pretty
282. Ice

Here is Henry counting in the tub...

After his bath, Bitsy walked into the bathroom while we were dressing him. He said "Bitsy...turkey bummy!" He must have picked up on that from me. My sister Carolyn used to run around and call people or animals "turkey bummies" when she was a toddler. I'm quite sure that I've referred to Bitsy as a "turkey bummy" because she can be just that. I haven't used it often and don't recall using it on Bitsy in a long time. Bitsy has actually behaved herself lately. Just goes to show that one has to watch everything one says around Mr. H.

Henry fell asleep within a couple minutes of Jeff taking him to the bedroom. He is exhausted.
