Evidence of Henry Reading

We put the kids to bed at 8:30PM last night. That meant that Henry got up at 5:45AM this morning. He sleeps 9-10 hours at night. Period. He also takes 2-3 hour naps, so we know that he's getting at least the minimum amount of sleep for a child his age (12 hour minimum needed). He woke up when Jeff was on a walk with the dogs. Henry wanted Daddy of course. He was irked that Daddy wasn't there. He calmed down once I took him to the living room to read.

We left the house earlier than usual this morning. I don't like the idea of the kids being at daycare for long hours, but we think that Henry needs more time on the playground. His class goes outside at 7:30AM. We arrived at daycare shortly before 7:30AM. Henry's class was getting ready to head out the door. He joined them in line rather than holding onto me tightly. I did get a kiss out of him before he scampered down the hall and out the door. Miss R was a little confused. We usually start the day there around 8-8:30AM when her class is on the playground. But she was fine.

The other day, Jeff mentioned that Henry again demonstrated some reading skills. It was Monday night. Jeff hadn't yet read the Sunday comics, which is a ritual of his and Henry's. He pointed to "Get Fuzzy" and asked Henry which comic it was. Henry knows his comics. Jeff was surprised when Henry seemingly got the comic wrong and called it "Garfield." Then, Jeff read the comic which I have scanned below...
