"Good night, Lily. See you tomorrow, Lily."

Jeff picked up Henry at Grammy and Poppy's house. Henry helped Grammy with laundry and outside work in the morning and then took a 3 hour nap from 1-4PM. When Jeff picked up Miss R, he asked the teacher, Miss Kristen, how Miss R had behaved today. Miss Kristen said that Miss R is always a piece of cake to take care of. When they returned home, Miss R gave me a huge hug as usual. Henry gave me a one a couple minutes later. Henry begged for Couch Mountain, so we made it for him. Miss R just wanted me to hold her.

Miss R, especially, enjoyed watching Lily (formerly known as Puppy Puppy). She also liked saying Lily's name, which Miss R pronounces as Li LEE.

I made the kids dinner. It was a little bit of this and a little bit of that. They had grapes (Miss R's new favorite), asparagus tips, sweet potato bisque (they didn't like it), pita with eggplant hummus (thumbs up), naan (always good), and beans (Miss R liked them but took forever to try them; Henry had one bite).

I took Roger and Lily for a walk. Lily did very well on the leash. We ran into Hal (and Annie and Luke) and Yvonne (and Banjo and Chocolate). Yvonne commented on how Lily looked like Precious as a puppy (Precious was her dog who passed away in February). Lily did well getting inspected by all of the dogs on our street.

Jeff gave the kids a bath. Henry discovered the joys of pulling the plug on the bath tub. Consequently, it was a short bath. We read books in the living room for awhile. We brushed our teeth. And then, around 8:30PM, we said that it was bedtime. I told the kids to say good night to Lily. Henry was so cute. He said, "Good night, Lily! See you tomorrow, Lily!" Getting the kids to sleep was a struggle. Henry didn't look the slightest bit tired. But we are going to attempt to get them off early tomorrow, so that Henry can have some time on the playground in the morning. His class has playground time at 7:30AM.

While we were getting the kids to bed, Lily relieved herself in the living room...again. This time it was my turn to admonish the poop in front of her, and then take it outside and praise it. I hope that Lily potty trains quickly.
