We could hear Henry coughing throughout the night. He got up at 5AM, right as I was trying to go to bed. I was on baby duty last night. I got in some cat naps of course, so it wasn't as though I was up all night. Jeff got up at 5AM and let me get some rest in an actual bed.
We decided to keep Henry home b/c he was really tired. Clearly, his cough had made for restless sleep.
At 10AM, we had a visit from Baby A's caseworker from the Blake Foundation. She is also Baby A's bio brother's caseworker. She is going to talk to the brother's St. Nick's caseworker to see if sibling visitations can be arranged. I think that the caseworker was impressed with how well Baby A is doing. She watched Baby A take down a bottle and maintain eye contact with me. Then, I put Baby A on her tummy and showed off her tummy time skills. I was very impressed last night, but she blew me away even more by doing a 90 degree angle with her arms and head for about 5 minutes. Incredible! She is so strong. The Blake Foundation caseworker will be visiting Baby A once a month. Next month, she'll visit Baby A during her time with bio mom.
After the visit from the caseworker, I took Baby A and Miss R to school. No problems there.
Henry basically spent all day in bed. He just got up a half hour ago. He's tired. He still coughs on occasion. His nose is still running. And he feels a little warm (low grade fever).
I'm going to pick up the girls in a little bit.
