Right after dinner, Erin, Jeff, Henry, and I were talking in the living room, when Henry took a big tumble between the coffee table and couch. He bit his tongue rather hard and blood was drizzling profusely out of his mouth. This was quite disconcerting at the time because we couldn't tell exactly from where the blood was coming. Henry calmed down after a few minutes. Jeff held an ice cube to his mouth to suck on, and after being wiped several times with a wash cloth, we managed to see that he had bit down in the middle of his tongue.

Monday was Henry's One Year Adjusted Birthday Day (or Due Date Day)! He took a three hour nap for Alicia from 10:45AM to 1:45PM. That was bizarre. After Alicia left and we fed Henry his lunch, we gave him a much needed bath. He managed to get food all over of his second outfit of the day. He had fun in the water as usual. Afterward, we weighed him (21 lbs 2.5 ozs) and put on his "hot pants" for awhile. Henry got into the dirt in the plant pot. The picture of him to the left shows him with his hand in the cookie jar (so to speak). I looked at him and told him "no," and he placed some of the dried leaves in his hand back into the pot.
We met my parents at Swenson's around 5:30PM or so. Henry had a few bites of hamburger, a French fry with ketchup (which he managed to smear all over his face), and a few avocado pieces. For dessert, we let Henry have some vanilla frozen yogurt, which he loved. Alas, it was non-fat yogurt. Unfortunately, the frozen yogurt tends to be the non-fat variety. I'm going to look into getting Henry some full fat frozen yogurt at the store (or learn to make it myself...that will be interesting).
After dinner, we went to a Sidewinders baseball game. The weather was perfect. There was a slight breeze. The Sidewinders trounced Tacoma. Henry was wonderful throughout the game. A couple a few rows in front of us commented on what a good baby he was. Henry sat on my lap. I explained to him where the pitcher was and what the batter did, and he seemed to be paying attention. He was also a big fan of the music blaring from the speakers during breaks in the game. He would bounce up and down and bob his head to the music. He like clapping and cheering. He started getting sleepy by the 7th inning and drank his bottle cradled in his daddy's arms. Then, we headed back home.Henry tossed and turned all night, according to Jeff. I don't think that Jeff got much sleep. Henry was up bright and early at 6:30AM this morning.
