Henry had a good day yesterday. Grandma visited in the afternoon. Jeff suggested that she go home a little early because a storm was brewing. Henry and Jeff played. I came home around 6:30PM with dinner from Lovin' Spoonfuls. Henry tried chilled coconut cucumber soup, of which Jeff only took a bite. Jeff thought it sounded gross even before I forced a spoonful upon. Henry, on the other hand, was much more willing. Henry and I both enjoyed the unusual soup. Henry also had some bites of ravioli in creamy pesto and linguine. The pesto was a big hit.
I have noticed that if I ask Henry to say "Mama," he will no longer do it. Refuses. Acts like he has forgotten how. But both yesterday morning and this morning, when Alicia was taking care of Henry, I walked into the kitchen and suddenly Henry calls out "Mama, Mama" upon seeing me. So this confirms that he knows how. I'm going to test him this afternoon after Alicia leaves and see if he again "forgets" my name or starts calling me "Bob" again (which was his name for me for a couple weeks).
I was holding Henry a little while ago. He wanted me to hold him but also wanted to touch Karina who was being held by Alicia. Apparently, Karina gave him a hug this morning, which is sweet.
