On Sunday, Henry and Jeff played in the morning. Around 10:45AM, Henry and Jeff went to take a nap. That lasted until 2:15PM. We postponed our trip to Picture Rocks b/c my parents came down with flu. Around 3:15PM, we headed out the door. Jeff dropped me off at school so that I could go through graduate applications. His plan was to take Henry to the zoo, but it turned out the zoo closes at 4PM. They went to the pond at Reid Park instead. A family shared their bread with Henry to give to the ducks. Then, Jeff and Henry played in front of the Communication Bldg for awhile. Then, we went to get dinner at a fast food Indian place.
When we came home, Henry had a bath. I drew a circle with one of the bathtub crayons, and Henry said "circle" (unprompted). We don't recall having used the word "circle" for a long time. I've used it in reference to the shape sorter, but that hasn't been used in a long, long time.
Today, I told Henry that Joe Biden was the Veep. Still can't convince him that Obama's not the Secretary of Veterans Affairs as well as President.
After the bath, we watched Thomas the Tank Engine and then Henry went to bed.
Alicia called last night. She is sick with flu. Karina was sick all weekend. They thought she was over it but then started vomiting again. So, I think that we can expect to be on our own again this week.
I'm pretty sure that I'm coming down with it too. I don't feel right, but Jeff can't take anymore time off work so I'm watching Henry today. Hopefully, he'll take a long nap so I can too.
