Sniffles

Henry had the sniffles this morning. His nose kept running and running, so Alicia called her husband and had him pick up Karina. It was a quiet day around the house. In the afternoon, we spent some time together as a family. Henry wanted to play with some CD cases. Jeff gave him a couple. One was entitled "Baby Moving." Jeff's pretty sure that Henry looked at it and said "Baby Moving" or something that sounded like it. Jeff hadn't told him the title of the CD, so that contributes to our theory that Henry can read even though we haven't taught him his letters yet. I know, I know. It sounds like a crazy idea.

We went outside. I brushed the dogs using our Fur-manator. Created a fur storm in the backyard. I brushed our dogs yesterday. You wouldn't have guessed it by the amount that I got off them today. Then, Henry and I spread some bird seed around the desert. We went inside. Played with the Pony (whom we named Jezebel). Henry climbed the cat tree. He got up to the third level at one point. Here's video of him climbing to the second level:

Jeff had gotten up at 2:30AM to finish watching the Wildcats vs. USC game. He decided not to go back to bed, so he was very tired. While he took a nap in the afternoon, Henry and I stopped by the bank's drive through and then picked up a few things at Trader Joe's. A nice man named Tim gave Henry a balloon.

We came home. Woke Jeff up. Jeff fed Henry some dinner, while I walked the dogs in almost darkness. We gave Henry a bath at his request after dinner. Watched some pics. Henry wasn't tired, so we returned to the living room. I read aloud from "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" (100 pages left!), which put Henry and Jeff to sleep on the floor. Got them to move into the bedroom where they remain fast asleep.
