When Henry woke up this morning, he sat up straight, looked over at Miss R, and said "Hi R****!" in his super perky happy morning voice that I haven't heard in about a year. As he has gotten older, his morning wake up of "Hi!" as turned into surly rumbling. He gets that from me as I'm not a happy morning person at all. :)
It was nice to see him so cheerful this morning.
In other news, Kathleen, my mentor and boss from the Annenberg survey, sent Miss R a really cool doll. She asked if we'd received it. I said we hadn't. But then it turned out that Jeff had a box from Amazon addressed to me that he hadn't given to me yet. He thought it was perhaps a Mother's Day gift. Anyway, we gave it to Miss R, and she was delighted. I think that she even said the word "doll."
How I wish that I could upload pictures of Miss R to this website so that everyone could see how cute, beautiful, and happy she is.
OK. Back to work.
