The House of Whine (not the good kind)

On Friday, we decided it was time to call the doctor's office. We had to make sure that Henry's lungs were not getting overwhelmed with the drainage. And we also had to make sure that Miss R wasn't wheezing too much. They squeezed us into the schedule for an appointment with the NP. Henry was super whiny at NP appointment.

The NP decided to give the kids antibiotics (strong ones) to knock the yuckiness out. Miss R was wheezing on one side of her lungs, so we are on a course of nebulizing twice a day again (we've been doing anyone, but now it's official that we *have* to do it). The good news was that Miss R's sats were high. Henry's lungs sounded clear to the NP, but the NP didn't like the sound of his cough.

Henry weighed something like 27 lbs 10 ozs. That's nearly a pound increase from our December visit. Miss R, however, has unfortunately lost weight. We've had a heck of a time getting her to eat. How have we ended up with two kids who aren't interested in food?

It pretty much rained all day Friday. We gave the kids a bath after their sort-of-kind-of dinner. Then, it was bed time.

Jeff is taking care of the kids this morning (Saturday) so that I can catch up on several days of missed work. Oy vey! As the kids haven't had fevers in 24 hours, we are going to take them to see The Princess and the Frog with Aunt Erin after their naps. If they take one, that is. Henry didn't take one yesterday, which probably contributed to his "the sky is falling" attitude when we didn't let him watch TV.

This morning, Henry announced "I don't love Mommy!" when I didn't let him watch TV. Nice to know that love is directly correlated with amount of TV allowed!

That's all from here.
