Last night, I spent the better part of the evening filling out foster care/adoption forms and whatnot. Jeff took care of the kids. When Jeff told them that it was time for bed, they raced to our bed, hopped in, and pretended to sleep as evidenced by their fake, loud snores.
I stayed up incredibly late getting my class materials together. Managed to get a couple hours of sleep.
On Wednesday, Jeff took the day off work. It sounded like they had a great day. They slept over 2.5 hours during nap time. But they both are still sick with coughs, runny noses, and low-grade fevers which come and go.
When I arrived home, it was almost dinner time. Henry begged for us to have a "picnic." The kids sat at their picnic table, which is attached to their playhouse. For whatever reason, the kids seemed more intrigued by what was on my plate than theirs (it was the exact same food!).
That was about it. The kids hopped in our bed again trying to delay the inevitable. They are in their beds now.
