A Trip to the Dentist

On Wednesday morning, we managed to get out of the house for the kids' 8AM dental appointment. Henry and Miss R love the lobby of the dentist's office that has a fort and a pacman videogame table. The kids were great. When they called us back (we were their first patients), Henry said "I'm going to see Dr. Bunch." That made the office staff laugh given how young Henry is.

Dr. Bunch spent most of the time inspecting Miss R's teeth. One of the temporary fillings had come off, but other than that, he actually thought her teeth looked pretty good...considering. So no plans yet for getting her teeth filled. He really wants to wait until her last molars have arrived.

Meanwhile, a nice dental hygenist managed to brush Henry's teeth. I should add that both Henry and Miss R sat in the dental chairs all by themselves. Usually, parents are required to hold the kids until age 3. Henry was very patient. He didn't like the rotating tooth cleaner, but he was good. When Dr. Bunch came over to inspect Henry, Henry said "Hi Dr. Bunch!" I think that Dr. Bunch was surprised that Henry knew his name. It had been about 6 months since Henry's last visit at age 2 years adjusted. Henry's teeth looked great. Nice spacing and all.

We had taken two cars because I had to head straight to work. Jeff took the kids to daycare.

Signing off...
